TestRing Privacy Policy

TestRing is operated by Fourcents. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What we collect

From developers: email, payment information (handled by Stripe), name of your business or app, and links to your Play Console closed-testing track.

From testers: email, phone (for SMS verification), country, the Google account email you'll use for testing (and its publicly available account-age signal from Google), device specs you self-report, and your feedback on apps you test.

2. What we use it for

• Matching testers to apps (region, language, device match)
• Paying testers via Stripe Connect Express or PayPal Payouts
• Generating compliance receipts for developers
• Detecting fraud (duplicate accounts, fake installs)
• Synthesizing tester feedback into reports for developers (using OpenAI's API; tester names are never sent — only the feedback text)
• Service emails (account, payouts, support)

3. What we don't do

• We never sell your data.
• We never run ads on our platform.
• We never publish testers' names, emails, or feedback identifiably without consent.
• We never share data with third parties for marketing.

4. Third parties we share data with

• Stripe (payments + payouts) — sees email, name, payment information. Stripe's privacy policy.
• OpenAI (feedback synthesis) — receives anonymous tester feedback text. Per OpenAI's API terms, this data is not used to train their models and is deleted after 30 days.
• Twilio (SMS verification) — receives your phone number for one-time codes.
• Resend (email delivery) — receives your email address.
• Google Play Console (testing track) — your tester opt-in is recorded by Google directly.

5. How long we keep it

Tester earnings and tax records are retained for 7 years per US tax requirements (1099-NEC). All other personal data is retained until you delete your account, after which it is anonymized within 30 days (test history is kept in aggregated, non-personal form for product analytics).

6. Your rights

You can delete your account anytime from your dashboard. To request a copy of your data or to ask for accelerated deletion, email info@fourcents.in. We honor GDPR, CCPA, and similar requests within 30 days.
